This falls under the- I tried and tried and tried- category! I have pitched Whole Living magazine when it was Body & Soul and before… for a long time.

I am so happy to report that one of my essays made the March issue of the magazine. It is not about food but about finding beauty in everyday things.

I hope you will read it and post a comment here. It is not available online right now but I will post a link when it goes online.

So happy for you, my friend:) Talent alone is not enough, but you prove every day that you are determined and focused! It was bound to happen! (If only I emulated you better!)
Congratulations!

Can’t wait to go buy this issue so I can read some M Bhide words. Always a feast. Glad WL saw the light and put you in their pages.

How wonderful! I can’t wait to see it. I went and found your essay in Best Food Writing 2010 and and reading it now and it’s wonderfully charming. You really know how to get yourself out there. What an inspiration you are!

I read the essay and loved it! I was smiling throughout and could visualize every detail. Like your other essays this one too lingers on my mind long after I have read it. The more I read about your boys the more love I feel for them. :) Now whenever I see an airplane up in the sky I shall be reminded of this new essay, just like the mismatched cups in my cupboard, hot rotis from my tava, shell on green peas and edamame remind me of your other essays. You have attached a story to these mundane things in my life, making them special in a simple way!
